A new employer database is launching in Timmins.
The Timmins Chamber of Commerce, Northern College and Far Northeast Training Board are teaming up to help employers work together and match and share part-time employees.
Chamber Manager of Policy Nick Stewart says this is to ensure that local employers have the staff that they need while at the same time helping to retain employees in the community by giving them the hours that they need.
Stewart says this is bridge the gabs between employers needing staff and employees needing more hours. He says businesses can access the database online or by contacting the chamber.
