Some new equipment will be on its way to the Timmins and District Hospital thanks to a recent donation.
The Timmins Professional Firefighters Association has donated a cheque for $2,017.80 to the hospital Stroke Centre. Coordinator for the Stroke Centre Carla Dolanjski says this donation is greatly appreciated and will go a long way.
Dolanjski says this money will be used to buy some new halter monitors.
She says TADH has a 24/7 team of doctors that are on call for the emergency needs of the Stroke Centre.
