The life of a Timmins icon will be celebrated this week.
A funeral and wake has been scheduled for Martha Spence, also known as “The Moccasin Lady”, later this week. Spence is known for walking around downtown, selling home-made moccasins. She passed away at the age of 72 on Friday.
Miron Wilson Funeral Home says a visitation will take place between 2:00pm and 4:00pm tomorrow at the funeral home. The funeral will be held on Thursday at 10:00am at St. Anthony’s Cathedral.
