A Timmins icon has passed away.
Martha Spence, also known as “the moccasin lady” passed away on Friday according to Miron Wilson Funeral Home. Spence is known for walking around downtown and selling home-made moccasins.
People have taken to social media to send out their feelings, with some saying they bought at least 50 pairs from her over the years.
Her cause of death is unknown, but she was 72-years-old when she died. Miron Wilson Funeral Home says funeral service details are to be announced.
