The Timmins and Area District Hospital has received a cheque for over three-thousand dollars. It was donated from the Timmins and Area Golf Tournament in August. Although the event was rained out, but 35 people still came out for the dinner portion scheduled after golf. Timmins Hospital is the largest one in the Northeast, and is upgrading their facilities and equipment.
