And two federal northern New Democrats are siding with the fans. Nickel Belt MP Claude Gravelle says the move is ill-advised. Gravelle is hearing that only half the games will get regional coverage. He says although RDS is fielding the complaints, it’s not the broadcaster’s fault but rather the NHL is to blame. And Carol Hughes of Algoma Manitoulin Kapuskasing says fans could potentially walk away from the game if the regional blackouts continue.
