News Inquest into Timmins mining death SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Monday, Oct. 6th, 2014 There is going to be an inquest into the death of a Timmins miner. 28 year old Richard Roy died in 2011 from injuries sustained while working at the Kidd Mine. Dr. Dan Cass, the Deputy Chief Coroner for Investigations, announced last week a mandatory inquest will be held in November. It should last around three days, and will have witnesses speak about the incident.
