Timmins Residents Face Charges After $114,000 Drug Bust

Two Timmins residents are facing after a big drug bust.

The Timmins Police Service says on November 16th, officers searched a local home and found about 267 grams of cocaine and 8,700 methamphetamine tablets valued at about $114,580, as well as $1,100 in cash.

Police say a 46-year-old man and 48-year-old woman are both facing three charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime. The 46-year-old man is facing an additional eight charges including fail to comply with probation and possession of a weapon contrary to a probation order.

TPS says the man is in custody awaiting video remand on Friday and woman was released on bail.
