Three Timmins residents are facing multiple charges after police seized about $22,000 in drugs, cash and a firearm.
The Timmins Police Service says on November 9th, officers found a number of illegal drugs in a local home including 16 grams of cocaine, 22 grams of heroin, 169 methamphetamine tablets, 107 oxycodone tablets, and eight morphine tablets. Police say they also found about $1,400 in cash and a firearm.
A 46-year-old woman, 37-year-old man and 44-year-old man are all facing 11 charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a loaded prohibited firearm and careless storage of a firearm. The 37-year-old man is also facing an addition two charges of possession of a firearm contrary to a probation order and fail to comply with probation. The 44-year-old man is facing and added five charges including possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a firearm contrary to a probation order.
The woman was released on bail and will appear in court on November 28th and the two men are in custody awaiting a video remand appearance on Friday.
