Timmins will pause to remember on November 11th.
Remembrance Day ceremonies will be taking place in both Timmins and South Porcupine on Saturday. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 88 in Timmins will be gathering at the cenotaph at Hollinger Park to remember. Legion President Bill Pigeon says it’s important to take a step back from our busy lives to remember.
Pigeon says everyone is invited to join just before 11:00am.
Pigeon says the ceremony will include music, readings and a moment of silence.
