Northern College’s Kirkland Lake campus hosted a training event for staff from the international mining equipment manufacturer Atlas Copco. The school, along with the Haileybury School of Mines, had 23 technicians at the training who are from across North and South America. They went through surface diamond drilling training. “To have an industry leader like Atlas Copco utilize our equipment and facilities for training is a testament to the quality of the education we provide,” says Christine Heavens, Executive Director at Northern College.
