Students at Golden Avenue Public School are donating a pile of pop tabs to the March of Dimes.
The school has collected seven photocopy boxes for the organization over the past year. Special Education Teacher Roberta Torlone says the March of Dimes will exchange the tabs for money.
Torlone says the money raised from the pop tab collection will go towards assistance devices like wheelchairs for people in the community.
The March of Dimes says this is the biggest donation in the history of pop tab collecting in Timmins.
