A family-owned business has been named Timmins number two hotel.
The Balsam Suites Boutique Inn and Residence has been named the number two hotel in the city by Trip Advisor, as well as received a number of other awards. Owner Alisa Brooks says the hotel has recently received five awards.
Brooks says they wouldn’t have gotten these awards if it wasn’t for their amazing guests.
She says this is encouraging them to add a few more suites, but still keep the hotel smaller, with a homier atmosphere.
