The MP for Algoma Manitoulin Kapuskasing says the federal Conservatives are ignoring overwhelming demands for a national inquiry into missing and murdered Aboriginal women. And Carol Hughes wants to know why. Hughes says 12-hundred Indigenous women missing or found dead in the last 30 years is proof these are not individual crimes. Hughes says Aboriginal women are five times more likely to go missing or die than their non-native counterparts.
