Northern College Graduates

Northern College has sent its latest batch of graduates into the workforce. 13 students completed a 15-week course at the Timmins campus in the five-piece heavy equipment operator, and AZ truck driving program. The program has an Aboriginal focus, and the students came from as far away as Moosonee and Moose Factory to attend.

Northern College’s Commercial Driving and Heavy Equipment Operator training is available to the public as well as to employers who are looking to develop their workforce. Through the college, students can train to prepare for licence tests including AZ, BZ, CZ, DZ, E, F and Z, and operator training for heavy equipment including backhoes, bulldozers, excavators, graders, loaders and rock trucks.
