The prosecution has wrapped their case in the first degree murder trial of Byron Spence. The defence called no witnesses yesterday, as the only obligation is on the prosecution to prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt. 30 year old Spence pled not guilty to the charges, saying the shooting of his 18-year old half brother Jonah Trapper was accidental. Closing arguments are on Monday.
