A Timmins representative is the new Vice President for Attractions Ontario.
Manager of Tourism Guy Lamarche was elected by the board at its meeting in Timmins last week. Lamarche says he is honoured to represent Timmins tourism at an executive level.
Lamarche says some of the bigger players on the board include representatives from the CN Tower, National Gallery of Canada and the Toronto Zoo.
He says the board will have an AGM in April where he may be asked to continue in this role, or move up to the next level.
