There is a lot happening in and around Timmins this week. The Timmins Walk for ALS is Saturday morning. Registration is at 10 am, and it takes place at Gillies Lake, at the 220 Algonquin Blvd entrance. Last minute registrations are welcome, go to als.ca and select Ontario and then Timmins to join.

Join the Moose Morning Show at the Terry Fox Run on Sunday afternoon. Runners start at noon, and walkers are at 1. The run is at Gillies Lake, at the soccer field near the Lakeshore parking lot, which is behind the MRCA building.
The Timmins Majors are playing the New Liskeard Cubs on Saturday night, at 7:30 at the McIntyre Arena. They play an afternoon game on Sunday at 1:30 against the Nickel City Sons, out of Sudbury. That game is also at the McIntyre Arena.
