Students Take Part in the Help Us Help You Campaign

You may find an information pamphlet hanging on your door.

Students in the Timmins Police Service Youth in Policing Initiative will be placing pamphlets on houses that don’t meet the address marking bylaws as part of the Help Us Help You campaign. Communications Coordinator Kate Cantin says house numbers need to be at the front of the building, placed no higher than the first story and a minimum of 10 centimetres tall.

Cantin says this is an awareness campaign, but if you get one of these pamphlets you should review the bylaw and make the proper changes.
