Hospitals in the North East Health Integration Network are getting a financial boost.
The North East LHIN has received more than $9.7-million from the Infrastructure Renewal Funding. Director of Hospitals Marc Demers says this funding will help hospitals do upgrades and improvements.
Demers says having these projects cover infrastructre upgrades allows the hospitals to focus their funds on patient care. He says the Timmins and District Hospital will be getting $2-million to replace the facilitie’s roof.
