A decision has been reached in the Police Services Act hearing regarding Staff Sergeant David Starcevic. He faced two count of neglect of duty for improper storage of his gun, and improper note taking. The hearing officer decided Starcevic should be demoted to Sergeant for three months, and after that be reinstated to his original title of Staff Sergeant at his original pay.
