News FedNor funding for Temagami First Nation SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Friday, Aug. 22nd, 2014 Temagami First Nation has received 1 million dollars from FedNor. The funding is for a business centre and multi-purpose facility, to create new commercial and economic development for local businesses. The facility will encourage growth for Aboriginal businesses, and will support local waterfront development efforts. Chief Arnold Paul says this strong show of support from FedNor and the Government of Canada is welcome. Today’s announcement, in addition to TFN’s contribution, will expedite our community’s plan to develop the infrastructure and resources we require to grow our economy.
