A new website to attract immigrants to Northern Ontario is launching in Timmins.
The Timmins and District Multicultural Centre and the Timmins Economic Development Corporation have teamed up to create a promotional website to attract more people to the Northeastern region. Project Coordinator Sylvie Lamothe says this bilingual website should address the regions declining population.
Lamothe says attracting more people to the region will help it grow and spark economic growth.
