The Canadian Kayak Challenge has announced a new event for this year’s festival. Science Timmins will be bringing a hot air balloon and selling tickets for anyone who wants to go 200 feet in the air. The balloon will be tethered to the ground at the ball park in Participark where the festival will be taking place. There will be rides on Friday and Saturday, including a balloon lantern ride at 9 on Friday night. Tickets are five dollars, and there is a limited number available.
