Spring cleanup starts Tuesday in Timmins.
You can leave unwanted items on the street curb and it will be picked up free of charge from today until June 2nd. Residential tipping fees at the Deloro Landfill will also be waived during spring clean up.
You are limited on the amount you can leave out for curbside pick-up. It must be no more than half a standard half ton pick-up truck and can not contain concrete, batteries, tires, electronics and mattresses that are not securely wrapped in plastic. Items should be placed on the street curb no more than two days before the scheduled pick-up day.
