A federal inmate being sought on a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested in Timmins.

The Timmins Police Service says the 36-year old man was arrested without incident Saturday evening. The man is currently serving a four-year sentence for charges of aggravated assault, weapons trafficking, break and enter, uttering death threats, theft under $5,000, failing to comply with an undertaking and failing to appear in court.

The OPP released the warrant on Thursday after he breached his parole.
