Community events in Cochrane will be hosted at new stages and buildings going forward.
Mayor Peter Politis says the Peninsula Project has now received approval from all of town council. Politis says the proposed new stages and buildings on the lake will improve the setting of future community events.
He says that town council has agreed upon a start date of May and an expected end date of September. Politis hopes the project will help draw even more members of the community to future local events.
