A Huge Success for the “Food For Friends” Food Drive

The high school “Food for Friends” food drive was a big success.

Teachers at Roland Michener Secondary say students collected 3,046 pounds of food and $222 for the South Porcupine Food Bank. Students at Timmins High and Vocational School collected 4,700 pounds of food to be split between the Timmins and First Baptist Church Food Banks.

The schools are thanking the public for their generosity.
