The Timmins Museum Curator and Director has been named the Canadian Museum Association President.
Karen Bachman has been a part of the CMA since about 1990. Bachman says about four years ago she joined the board of directors, and has worked her way through the ranks.
Bachman says the CMA will be holding a meeting in Timmins in September where anyone who likes to talk about museums can join.
