A Woman is Charged After a Pedestrian Involved Collision

A 78-year-old woman has been charged for a collision involving a pedestrian.

Timmins Police Service Spokesperson Marc Depatie says on Saturday afternoon, a pedestrian was hit at the intersection of Mount Joy Street and Algonquin Boulevard.

Depatie says the pedestrian was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The 78-year-old driver has been charged with failing to yield for a pedestrian.
