15 students have earned a new bike thanks to the Timmins Police and local Tim Hortons owners. The earn-a-bike program has teachers select students who showed a good work ethic throughout the year, and then with the work of extra chores at home and in the community, they can get a free bike and helmet. Timmins Police Constable Rick Lemieux says it’s a great way to reward students for good behaviour, as well as teaching them responsibility.
