As the weather warms up, you can expect to see more bears roaming around.
The province and OPP want to remind you to not make the city inviting for them. Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources Regional Specialist Heather Pridham says who come into the city are looking for food because they can’t access their natural food sources.
Pridham says if you have any bear concerns or sightings, you should call the bear wise reporting line (1-866-514-2327) and police.
