According to Mayor Steve Black, the Ministry of Transportation will be funding the projects that can be finished in one year for the 2017/2018 program. Black says the project in Timmins is set to cost $120-million when it’s all complete. He says this is very disappointing. //www.mytimminsnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/connecting-link-1.mp3 Black says council had set aside some money for the Connecting Link Project and will now look at either saving that money for next year, doing a temporary shave and pave fix to the highway, or allocating the money to fixing other roadways in the city.
