A 31-year-old Matheson man has been arrested for shoplifting.
The Timmins Police Service says the original theft happened on March 28th where the man allegedly took various packages of meat from a local grocery store. Spokesperson Marc Depatie says police were called to the store on Thursday to beak up a physical confrontation.
Depatie says the man is facing four charges related to theft and breach of probation.
He is in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
