A 19-year-old Timmins woman has been arrested for shoplifting.

The Timmins Police Service was called to a local pharmacy yesterday evening for a theft that was in progress. Communication Coordinator Marc Depatie says police were able to find and arrest the woman at the scene.

The woman is facing three charges related to theft. She is in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
