The economic outlook for Timmins is looking positive.
The Timmins Chamber of Commerce, the Ontario Chamber and local businesses met yesterday to go over a report on the future of the local economy. Timmins Chamber President Christine Bender says the general report looks positive.
Bender says some of the things that concern local businesses are hydro rates, the amount of taxes imposed on businesses and attracting staff.
She says these are things the chamber will continue to bring to the provincial level.
