The C.M. Shields Library is celebrating a milestone year and wants you to join.

The library is celebrating 50 years of sharing books and information in South Porcupine. Branch Head Louise Gaudette says the library will be hosting a party to celebrate.

Gaudette says the celebration will run from 6:30pm to 7:30pm tonight at the library.
