The snowmobile fun is now over in Timmins.

The Timmins Snowmobile Club has closed the trails for the season. Communication Director Gilbert Fortin says water run off has made the trails unsafe.

Fortin says everyone is asked to stay off the trails until they re-open next winter.

Fortin says this was a great 11 week snowmobile season.
