News PC Energy Critic Fights the Province on High Energy Prices SHARE ON: Mackenzie Read, contributor, Tuesday, Feb. 28th, 2017 The rising energy cost battle has once again flared up within the provincial government. Ontario PC Energy Critic Todd Smith says the current hydro rates are disastrous, especially in the northern region. Smith says he is asking the province to back away from selling off more Hydro One sales and to stop putting up renewable energy contracts with enormous subsidies attached. Calls to the Premiers Office for comments have not yet been answered.
