Isadore Day of the Serpent River First Nation says the previous minority rule created too many barriers when addressing issues like missing and murdered Indigenous women, education and child welfare. But Day says the majority outcome changes that and he’s sending a letter to Premier-elect Kathleen Wynne proposing a new way to advance collective interests in Ontario.
