Police have deemed the house fire on Balsam Street suspicious.
Officers say at least one person has been identified as a person of interest. Police Communications Coordinator Marc Depatie says police are working with the Ontario Fire Marshall’s office for this investigation. Depatie says it’s believed the fire started in the basement and left the house with significant structural damage.
Depatie adds that no injuries reported, but it is believed that some people have been left homeless.
TPS is asking anyone with information to call police or Crime Stoppers.
