With the icy roads and freezing rain, there have been some service disruptions today.
The City of Timmins has suspended today’s garbage puck up until the roads are safe for the trucks.
Transit busses are running, but are behind schedule. Busses are also avoiding avoiding streets with an incline, such as such as Bannerman, Cameran and Belanger.
All available sanding equipment have been deployed. The are also having difficulties on the roads.
