Educators and Students will be looking at bringing culture to academic courses.
Northern College and Omushkego Education are teaming up for the 26th Annual Great Moon Gathering. This is aimed at bringing cultural resources to educators and students to support success.
The event includes workshops, traditional ceremonies and focus groups. Campus Manager Christine Bender says this year’s theme is “Learning from the Land”.
Bender says one of the big highlighted events is the screening of the film Secret Path. She says everyone is invited to come view the film and take part in a panel discussion on it.
The gathering runs Thursday and Friday at the Northern College campus.
