Northern College is hosting its 28th Annual Awareness Day on Wednesday.

This is to support people with all kinds of disabilities. College Accessibility Services Assistant Shawna Foy says this year’s theme is learning differences. Foy says there will be 11 stations set up for people to experience what it’s like to learn with a disability. She adds there will also be a wheelchair rally, wheelchair basketball and hockey.

Foy says they will also be talking about what technology and programs the college has to help students learn.

Tomorrow’s activities run from 9:30am to 1:30pm.
