The Timmins Police Service is asking for your help in locating a suspect involved in two robberies today.

Communications Coordinator Marc Depatie says the first robbery happened at the Mac’s Milk variety store on Dwyer Avenue in Schumacher. The man in a disguise demanded money from the cashier. He fled with merchandise and cash.

A second robbery happened a short while later at the Chevy Bait variety store on King Street in Porcupine. He approached the cashier and demanded money. The suspect made off with merchandise and cash in this instance as well. Depatie says police believe the man is responsible for both robberies.

The Timmins Police Service is working with the OPP’s canine unit to find the man.
