Searching for a job in Timmins is becoming easier.
The Timmins Economic Development Corporation and the Far Northeast Training Board have collaborated to improve the employment website jobsintimmins.ca.
FNETB Executive Director Julie Joncas says they have added some new features to make finding a job simpler. Joncas says people who register to the site will now get notifications every time a job they are interested in gets posted. The website now bilingual as well.
Joncas says that they want people to know Timmins is on the map and that there are rewarding opportunities in the community.
Joncas adds there are now employment sites for Cochrane, Kapuskasing and Hearst to show all the employment options in Northern Ontario.
