Joe Torlone has officially retired from his position as Timmins CAO. Torlone has served as CAO for the last 14 years. Council started their budget meeting on Thursday, thanking him for his service and giving him a standing ovation. Torlone says leaving council is bitter-sweet, but it’s time for someone new to take over. His next step in life is to relax and spend all of his time with family.
Dave Landers will now be filling the position. Torlone’s advice to Landers is to sit back, listen and take it one day at a time.
