News Timmins Breast Wellness Centre Receives Donation SHARE ON: Mackenzie Read, contributor, Wednesday, Jan. 25th, 2017 The Timmins and District Hospital Breast Wellness Centre has received a financial boost. The Timmins Professional Firefighters Association has given the Hospital Foundation a cheque for just over $1,400. This money was raised during the firefighters annual Breast Cancer Awareness t-shirt fundraiser. Hospital Foundation Executive Director Janna Burke says money will go towards new equipment and to promote the centres services. Burke says this money will go a long way in providing comfort and care to those with breast wellness issues. She says over the past three years, the firefighters association has donated almost $5,000 to the Breast Wellness Centre.
