News Pedestrian Collision Closes Algonquin Blvd SHARE ON: Mackenzie Read, contributor, Sunday, Jan. 22nd, 2017 Photo Credit: Mackenzie Read A pedestrian collision closed Algonquin Boulevard for several hours over the weekend. The Timmins Police Service says the crash happened at the intersection of Algonquin and Pine Street. The 44-year-old pedestrian was taken to the Timmins hospital with non-life threatening injuries and remains in hospital. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and co-operated with police. Police Spokesperson Marc Depatie says anyone who may have witnessed the event is asked to contact police.
