Nominations are now open for theĀ 2017 Influential Women of Northern Ontario Awards. These awards are to recognize influential and inspiring women in Northern Ontario.
Marketing Manager Sharon Bowes says there are seven categories including business of the year, tradeswoman of the year and influential community trailblazer. Bowes says all nomination forms and information can be found on theĀ Influential Women of Northern Ontario website.
She adds that when all the nominations are in, a panel of judges from the Northwest will pick the winners for the Northeast and a panel from the Northeast will choose for the Northwest.
The nomination deadline is January 30th and the awards will be handed outĀ in Timmins on May 29th.
